Saudi activists alleged Wednesday that state security shot dead a leading online activist, who was calling for a 'Day of Rage' on March 11 in the oil-rich kingdom.

Faisal Ahmed Abdul-Ahadwas, 27, was believed to be one of the main administrators of a Facebook group that is calling for protests similar to that have swept North Africa and the Middle East.
The Facebook group, which has over 17,000 members, is calling for nationwide protests and reforms, including that governors and members of the upper house of parliament be elected, the release of political prisoners, greater employment, and greater freedoms.

Online activists said they believe Abdul-Ahadwas was killed by state security and that his body was taken by authorities to 'hide evidence of the crime.'

They argued he was killed because of 'his commitment to a better future for his country.'
Although these allegations could not independently verified, the religiously and socially-conservative kingdom has moved in recent days to quell a possible uprising similar to those in nearby Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, Bahrain and Yemen.

Saudi authorities were recently slammed by rights groups, including the US-based Human Rights Watch, for the arrest of Sheikh Tawfiq al-Amir, a Shiite cleric who was calling for a constitutional monarchy and equal rights for minority Shias.

Salih al-Chaslan, spokesman for the National Human Rights Society of Saudi Arabia said, when asked, that he knew nothing of the arrest of the religious leader, nor of the death of the man from Riyadh.

I am glad you are a woman! It is though the sisters that truth will be seen... many men talk but Sisters do!
Now that being said, you may not be able to think critically yet. Do not be afraid. God wants only peace and love.

Put bluntly, are you the same as any other man? Do you feel your voice is as good as mine? I am not Muslim, and I feel your child's voice is important too. The koran teaches that you are not as good as a muslim man. Why? Is it not God who respects and loves us equally? My friend, you are told to be a slave not to God, because God tells us to seek the Truth and it will set you free!
You are loved so much by God that you have a choice to follow or not. You are NOT God's pet or slave.
If you had read what Ali Sina writes you too would shed the chains of islamic oppression!
Peace
ps your English is quite good keep it up!

You can agree or disagree but you can’t assume or insult, first I am a woman I though this is clear from my user name, I was raised by two Muslim parents who loved, respected each others and taught us that is the true Islam teaching, so I am not brain washed as you think secondly I attached the hate quotes against Islam and Muslims by Ali Sina so instead of answering this accusation your are correcting spelling mistakes for second language speakers!!!

I agree with Ali Sina, he is a smart cookie and was raised with the religion of hate. He opened his eyes and started to read the koran without blinders and found the truth was not between the covers. So it is not a mystery why some might call him rude. Respecting your wife might be rude to you also. There is also little hope to educate you in one email to overcome years of brain washing.
Peace, not piece, prophet not profit.

How ironic is that the city of Makkah the Qebla of Islam with what it represents of equality and fairness it dominated by corrupted oppressor leaders calling themselves Muslims, terrorizing and killing true believers who are only asking for their privileges governed by Islam.

I pray that God give us the strength to liberate Jerusalem and Makkah from the enemies of Allah who are abusing his Shari3a to control and suppress innocent to achieve material gain
