The truth finally escapes, Arab dictators equate those they rule as dogs.
"The systematic starvation against people in Tunisia led to an uprising and anger of the people... Starving your dog, will force him to eat you up."
-Al Watan Newspaper Saudi Arabia
How do you keep a dog happy? The Arab League suggests you feed them and keep them busy playing mundane games like fetch.
Kuwaiti ruler Sheik Sabah al-Ahmed al-Jaber al-Sabah said the fund [a mere $2B USD] will "contribute to creating new job opportunities for young Arabs" at a time when the Arab world is witnessing "unprecedented historical crisis."
Egypt's President Hosni Mubarak stressed the importance of economic cooperation, tagging it "a national security (read: my security) " requirement.
Saudi commentator Turki al-Dakhail too proposes the solution to feed the dogs. But don't feed them too much; keep them hungry so they'll beg for more and remain submissive.
It's time for these dogs to go rabid.
