It has come to my attention that the seven orphans of the Al Mahdi Centre in Haiti were killed as the orphanage crumbled on top of them. But as with every tragedy comes a test for believers, we can either fail miserably or we can strive to succeed.

Allah, The Enabler, has given us a golden chance to help our brethren in need. The same rescue and relief team I mentioned a few days ago has agreed to bring our donations to the Al Mahdi Centre community and the surrounding areas. If possible, they may also establish relief efforts in that area. This is the area of Haiti that has received ZERO relief and thus the orphans have succumbed to sleeping on the streets of Port-au-Prince.

We have just a few days as all donations MUST be received by January 27th, 2010
